What This Bill Does
Allows municipal utility boards to hold meetings in private residences or offices within their district, provided they declare the location a public place and invite public attendance. If no suitable meeting place exists within the district, the board may designate a location outside the district, as close to district boundaries as possible, after filing documentation with the commission and publishing a notice in a local newspaper. The bill aims to provide flexibility for utility boards in choosing meeting locations while maintaining public accessibility.
