What This Bill Does
Prohibits toll project entities from charging tolls on highways after a comprehensive development agreement has been terminated. Specifically, if a toll project entity ends its development agreement for a highway, they can no longer collect tolls on any part of that project. The legislation aims to protect drivers from continued toll charges on roads where the original contractual arrangement has been canceled.
