What This Bill Does

Modifies transportation regulations for vehicles carrying intermodal shipping containers, specifically expanding the permitted routes for such vehicles. The changes allow these vehicles to operate on state highways in counties with populations over a certain threshold, within 30 miles of the Texas-Arkansas border. The new regulations will take effect on September 1, 2025, potentially providing more flexibility for transportation and logistics companies operating in these areas.
