What This Bill Does

Modifies the process for selecting a depository bank for the West Coke County Hospital District's board of directors. It removes the previous requirement that the bank be located within the district, allowing the board more flexibility in choosing a bank to handle the district's funds. The legislation provides immediate effect if approved by two-thirds of the legislature, otherwise taking effect on September 1, 2025.
