What This Bill Does
This Texas bill modifies county requirements for plat (land subdivision) applications by mandating that county commissioners courts or plat approval authorities notify applicants about missing documentation within 10 business days for counties with larger populations, or within 30 days for smaller counties. The legislation requires counties to allow applicants to submit missing documents in a timely manner, streamlining the plat application process and providing clearer guidance for property developers and landowners seeking to subdivide their property.
