What This Bill Does

Designates a specific portion of Farm-to-Market Road 1097 in Montgomery County as the Army Specialist Joey Lenz Memorial Highway, honoring a military service member. The Texas Department of Transportation will design and erect markers along the highway to commemorate Army Specialist Joey Lenz, with markers to be placed at the highway's beginning, end, and at intermediate points. The designation will take effect on September 1, 2025, and does not change the road's existing functionality, but serves as a memorial tribute.
