What This Bill Does

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1.  Section 16.051, Water Code, is amended by adding
Subdivision (g-2) to read as follows:
(g-2)  An engineering firm contracted or procured to
assist in the preparation of the state water plan, a regional water
plan approved under Section 16.053, or the feasibility of a project
contained within these plans shall not be eligible to participate
in the construction of a reservoir under this section.
SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
