What This Bill Does

Requires chemical dependency treatment facilities to provide written notice to a parent, managing conservator, or guardian if they refuse to admit a minor seeking voluntary treatment. The notice must inform the parent or guardian of their right to seek treatment for the minor at another facility. This helps ensure parents are informed and can continue to pursue treatment options for their child's chemical dependency needs.
