What This Bill Does
Modifies how property tax (ad valorem) refunds are delivered. If a taxpayer files a written request with the tax collector before the refund is issued, the refund can be sent to an address different from the one on the appraisal roll. The taxpayer can also revoke this request in writing, and the comptroller will provide a standard form for making such requests.
