What This Bill Does

Requires the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to publicly display compliance information for crematories on their website and through on-site notices. Crematories must display a conspicuous notice with their regulated name, compliance history, classification, complaint instructions, and website information for accessing detailed compliance records. The goal is to provide transparency about a crematory's environmental performance and give the public easy access to compliance information.
