BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:
SECTION 1.  Section 43.005, Health and Safety Code, is
amended by adding Subsection (c) to read as follows:
(c)  The executive commissioner shall appoint for the
program of oral health services a dental director who is a dentist.
SECTION 2.  This Act takes effect September 1, 2025.
