What This Bill Does

This Texas bill repeals a section of the Property Code related to relocation assistance eligibility for certain persons. The legislation removes a specific provision governing state or political subdivision-sponsored relocations and applies only to moves or discontinuations occurring on or after September 1, 2025. The bill essentially changes the rules around who can receive relocation assistance, potentially impacting property owners, tenants, and local government entities involved in property-related relocations.
