What This Bill Does

Allows constables in counties with over 4 million residents to enforce municipal ordinances through a written agreement between the municipality and county commissioners court. The enforcement is limited to the portion of the municipality located within that specific county. The bill expands local law enforcement capabilities by enabling constables to support municipal ordinance compliance across jurisdictional boundaries.
