What This Bill Does
Requires courts to notify the Texas Attorney General as soon as practicable before holding a hearing for a temporary restraining order related to an election matter. The notification requirement applies to legal actions filed under the Election Code seeking such orders. This ensures the Attorney General is aware of and can potentially intervene in time-sensitive election-related legal proceedings.
