What This Bill Does
Requires school district bond elections to be held on the same date as general primary elections, general state and county officer elections, or general elections within the school district's boundaries. The legislation aims to standardize and potentially increase voter participation in school bond elections by aligning them with established election dates. School districts must now schedule their bond approval votes to coincide with these existing election dates, potentially reducing separate election costs and improving voter turnout.
