What This Bill Does
Changes how vacancies are filled on property owners' association (HOA) boards. Instead of board members appointing someone to fill a vacant position, the bill requires a special election where homeowners vote to elect a new board member. The newly elected board member will serve until the next regular board election, ensuring more direct homeowner involvement in board composition.
