What This Bill Does
Establishes campaign contribution limits in Texas for candidates for statewide offices and the legislature. Individual contributors can donate up to $5,000 per election, while political committees can contribute up to $10,000 per election. For judicial candidates, the limits are $10,000 for statewide judicial offices and $5,000 for other judicial offices, aiming to reduce the potential influence of large campaign donations.
